We are seeking an expert in Procurement with global sourcing experience in the Epoxy Paints & Coatings industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience in New Product Development, Supplier Evaluations as per quality norms, Internal as well as External Audit handling, Process improvements, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Assurance at the supplier end.
- Lead new product development, from assessing the market, scouting vendors, and qualifying according to the process, to negotiating and executing long-term agreements for flawless procurement.
- Execute sourcing strategies for different product categories while integrating all processes to significantly reduce costs and meet important performance metrics.
- Understand the intricacies of establishing long-term working relationships with suppliers of raw materials to further the profit model of the organization.
- Effectively manage supplier interactions, negotiate contracts, prices, and timelines in line with the short- and long-term goals of the organization.
- Possess strong deep domain knowledge in the sourcing of Lubricant Additives, Epoxy Paints & Coatings, and Chemicals, with connections across the globe with top chemical manufacturing companies.
- Manage supplier on-site visits to conduct Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly business reviews, to identify new ideas to improve business and long-term relationships.
- Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices.
- Develop yearly and quarterly raw material budgeting for product cost contribution.
- Negotiate and formalize legal contracts with suppliers.
- Lead the development and implementation of key sourcing projects.
- Deploy RM Localization and Value Engineering Initiatives to sustain and improve business profitability.
- Drive and implement commercial initiatives, supplier productivity, e-Sourcing, and VE initiatives in collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Conduct market research, collect information on suppliers, and handle cross-functional projects to support business goals and objectives.
Experience and Qualification:
- BE/B. Tech in Chemical Engineering or Material Management.
- Expertise in Global Sourcing of Procurement - Epoxy Paints & Coatings Products.
- Smart personality and excellent communication skills.
