About the Role

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a people professional who’s ready to build from the ground up. You’ll directly manage HR operations, drive culture, and support our teams in Rondebosch and beyond. You’ll also work closely with our Head of Business Development and key account management teams to support sales strategies focused on talent attraction and retention for our B2B clients. As WeVee scales in 2025, you’ll lay the foundations for growth and build a People & Culture team to amplify your impact.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • People Operations: Manage day-to-day HR functions, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a seamless employee experience. Streamline HR processes and policies to support growth and efficiency.

 

  • Culture & Values Activation: Bring our ELECTRIC values (Enthusiasm, Love, Engagement, Curiosity, Teamwork, Resilience, Integrity, Correctness) to life across all teams. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and environmental responsibility.

 

  • Talent Acquisition & Retention: Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent. Align our talent offering with B2B sales strategies to meet client needs for employee retention and attraction.

 

  • Personal Development Plans: Work with each team member to create personal development plans and goals, supporting their growth as WeVee scales up.

 

  • Collaboration with Sales Teams: Support the Head of Business Development and key account teams by developing strategies that showcase how WeVee helps businesses attract and retain talent.

 

  • HRIS Management: Manage and optimise our use of Hibob (HRIS) for people analytics, reporting, and workflows.

 

  • Building the People Team: As WeVee scales, recruit and lead a People & Culture team to expand your impact.

 

About You

  • Culture Champion: You’re passionate about embedding values and building an inclusive, dynamic workplace.
  • Collaboration with Sales: You understand how HR strategies support B2B sales goals.
  • Personal Development Focus: Experience in creating personal development plans that help employees grow with the business.
  • HRIS Proficiency: Experience with Hibob (or similar HRIS platforms) is a plus.
