About the Role

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a driven professional who’s ready to actively engage with prospects and land new accounts, while laying the groundwork for future growth. You’ll work closely with, and report directly to, our CEO, giving you a front-row seat to shape our expansion. What You’ll Be Doing

New Business Acquisition:

Identify, engage, and win new B2B accounts in the UK, focusing on companies with 1,000–10,000 employees and a strong white-collar workforce. You’ll be the one driving deals over the finish line.

 

  • Direct Client Engagement: Pitch to senior stakeholders—including C-suite executives, HR leaders, and sustainability officers—articulating the financial and environmental benefits of our EcoMute programme.

 

  • Pipeline Management: Build, manage, and optimise a pipeline of prospects in Microsoft Dynamics 365. Track progress, forecast accurately, and maintain detailed records of interactions and opportunities.

 

  • Strategic Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the CEO to refine our business development strategy, prioritise targets, and ensure alignment with company goals.

 

  • Team Building: As you land accounts and grow the business, recruit, train, and lead a team of business development executives, setting the foundation for scalable success.

 

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Navigate complex sales processes, engaging with multiple stakeholders within target companies to ensure buy-in and successful onboarding.

 

  • Reporting and Insights: Provide regular reports on pipeline activity, sales performance, and market insights to inform strategic decisions.

  • Proven Business Development Track Record: Experience landing high-value B2B accounts, particularly with UK-based companies of 1,000–10,000 employees.

 

  • Hands-On Sales Execution: You’re comfortable actively engaging prospects, driving deals, and closing business yourself—not just directing from the sidelines.

 

  • Strategic Pipeline Management: Expertise in managing sales pipelines using CRM tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365, with a disciplined approach to tracking and forecasting.

 

  • Financial and Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of salary sacrifice benefits and the ability to clearly articulate the advantages to higher-rate taxpayers (40%, 45%, and 62%).

 

  • Client Relationship Building: Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders, build trust, and drive consensus within large organisations.

 

  • Team Leadership Potential: A passion for mentoring and growing a team of business development professionals as the business scales.
