We are seeking a dedicated and professional individual to join us in Cape Town as a General Office Assistant.

The General Office Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the branch. This position involves managing the front desk, supporting the sales team, and assisting in facilitating the onboarding process for new customers.

The ideal candidate is friendly, organised, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment, with the ability to always ensure strict confidentiality and privacy of internal and external client/customer information.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 pass or equivalent
  • Diploma in Office Management/Business Administration
  • 2-3 years in a customer service administrative/receptionist position
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite, with advanced skills in Excel
  • Experience with administrative and clerical procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on telephone etiquette
  • Excellent customer service
  • Strong organisational, planning and multitasking skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and integrity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Own reliable transport
  • This is an office-based position in the Cape Town branch
