Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Fishshop Supervisor. The Fishshop Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fish shop, ensuring that all products are handled and stored properly, managing inventory, and supervising a team . The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for seafood, and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team and providing guidance and support as needed

• Ensure that all products are handled, stored, and displayed in accordance with food safety regulations

• Manage inventory levels, order new products as needed, and monitor product quality

• Set sales targets and develop strategies to increase revenue and profitability

• Monitor customer feedback and address any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner

• Train new staff members on proper fish handling techniques and customer service standards

• - Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the fish shop, including storage areas and display cases
  
  

Qualifications

• Matric

• Proven experience working in a fish shop or similar environment

• Strong knowledge of different types of seafood and proper handling techniques

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Previous supervisory experience is preferred

• Food safety certification would be advantageous
