Jobroller's Terms of Use

This document sets out the General terms of use governing usage of the Jobroller website.

By accessing, registering with, or using the Jobroller website you agree to our terms & conditions as stated below. “We” and “our” means Jobroller and “you” means the user of our site.

1. Information on this site

Whilst we make every effort to ensure that the information on this site is accurate and complete, all job listings are supplied to us by the recruiting business or by a third party and we are not able to check the accuracy or completeness of that information. We do not accept any liability arising from any inaccuracy or omission in any of the information on this site or any liability in respect of information on this site supplied by you, any other site user, or any other person.

2. Your use of this site

You may use this site for lawful purposes only when seeking employment or when recruiting staff. You must not undermine the security of our site or any information submitted to or available through it. You must not seek to access, alter, or delete any information to which you do not have authorized access. You must not post spam flood our site or attempt to use any device, routine, or software to crash, delay, damage or otherwise interfere with our site. You are solely responsible for all information submitted by you to our site. You are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied by you is up to date, true, and accurate and must never mislead or post discriminatory, obscene, offensive, defamatory, or illegal, unlawful materials. You are also responsible for ensuring that all information, data, and files are free of viruses that may damage or interfere with any data or equipment before being submitted to this site. We reserve the right to remove any information supplied by you from our website at our discretion at any time and for any reason without being required to give any explanation.

3. Information submitted by you

We will use information supplied by you including personal data to aid the recruitment process and associated administrative functions. This involves us processing and storing information and passing or making available online such information to prospective employers and clients; information about vacancies and placements will be passed to candidates and may be posted directly onto the website. You consent to us using information provided by you including personal data in each of these ways.

4. Usernames and passwords

You will need to use a username and password to register with our site. You are solely responsible for the security and proper use of your password which should be kept private and confidential at all times. You must never disclose your password to any other person and must notify us immediately if you think your password is known to someone else. We accept no liability for any unauthorized or improper use or disclosure of any password.

5. Purchases

Credit card and instant EFT payments will be securely processed by Pay Fast (https://www.payfast.co.za). Cash payments are to be made via direct bank deposit.

6. Job Posting Rules

We require employers to follow our basic job posting guidelines listed here – https://www.jobroller.co.za. We reserve the right to edit or remove ads that do not abide by these rules. Payments are non-refundable when our terms have not been adhered to. Posters that regularly break our posting rules may find their future use of the site restricted.

7. Access to CV database

Database rights and all other applicable copyright and intellectual property rights in the candidate database belong to Jobroller. You acknowledge that you do not acquire any rights in the database or its content and that your retention and use of the database and its content are governed by these terms and conditions.

The material you are entitled to receive from the candidate database is determined by the product you have purchased from us. On receipt of this material, you may:

 

Use, search, or download it to your database using the Candidate Search back office interface and its associated functions to find suitable candidates for specific job vacancies that you or (if you are an employment agency or employment business) your client wishes to fill.

Use the information about the individuals contained in the database to contact them (either directly or through the Jobroller website) about a specific job vacancy.

Use the information only in connection with your recruitment-related activities.

You may NOT:

·        Supply, sell, or license material from the candidate database, or a copy of it, to any other person, including another member of your group of companies.

·        Download, search, or view the database through any automated (e.g. “scraping”) process.

·        Contact the individuals on the database or make or allow any use of the information about those individuals, other than to find suitable candidates for specific job vacancies.

Access to the database is subject to our fair use policy and is strictly controlled to protect the privacy of our candidates. Any action that is deemed to be abusive or contrary to our terms will result in the service being terminated.

8. Refund Policy

Refunds may be requested if a job posting service was purchased in error and has not been used. This must be done by emailing info@jobroller.co.za within 24 hours of purchase.

No refunds will be issued for any service that includes access to the resume database. The successful sourcing and placing of candidates via these services cannot be guaranteed.

We will not issue refunds if a recruiter service has been utilized or if the user violates any of our terms or job posting rules. Please ensure you meet all requirements and ensure that your company registration has been verified before making a purchase.

9. Protection of Privacy

Jobroller is compliant with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and will not grant access to our employer services without verifying the authenticity of each company that registers on the Job roller website.

10. Liability

Jobroller accepts no liability for any loss of business, revenue or profits, wasted expenditure, corruption, or destruction of data or for any other indirect or consequential loss whatsoever whether it be direct or indirect arising from your use of our site or Jobroller services. We hereby exclude any such liability under any circumstances. You agree to indemnify us and keep us indemnified against all costs, expenses, claims, losses, liabilities, or proceedings arising from the use or misuse by you of this site and you must notify us immediately if anyone makes or threatens to make any claim against you relating to your use of this site.

11. Third-party website links

This website contains links to third-party websites that are controlled by others. Jobroller is not responsible and accepts no liability for any of the linked third-party websites and does not make any representations regarding the content or accuracy of the materials on third-party websites. If you access or use any linked third-party websites you do so at your own risk.

12. Changes to terms & conditions

We reserve the right to change these website terms and conditions at any time. You will be deemed to accept the terms and conditions (as amended) when you next access or use this site following any amendment.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Cancellation

By way of understanding and agreeing to the conditions set out above, this contract will remain in force until cancellation by the client in writing. If you wish to cancel an account you may do so by sending an email stating your request to: info@Jobroller.co.za
