Purpose of the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated commercial specialist to lead the pricing strategy for our Enterprise Business Unit (EBU), covering the full spectrum of mobile and beyond-mobile products and solutions. This pivotal role will drive commercial success across direct, indirect, Telesales and business-in-retail channels, ensuring our offerings remain competitive, profitable, and aligned with evolving market demands.
Main Responsibilities:
Trade Marketing Strategy Development
- Design and implement trade marketing strategies to drive product visibility, demand, and sales across B2B channels
Channel Management
- Develop and execute channel-specific marketing plans for direct, indirect, and partner sales channels - Optimising the marketing mix for each channel to maximise reach and effectiveness
Go to Market Execution
- Lead the launch of new products and solutions in B2B channels, ensuring alignment with sales and product teams
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the overarching pricing strategy for EBU products and services, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market positioning across all channels
Cross-Channel Oversight
- Manage and harmonise pricing approaches for direct enterprise sales, channel partners, and retail business segments, optimising mix for channel specific dynamics and opportunities
Portfolio Management
- Oversee pricing for both core mobile and adjacent (beyond-mobile) enterprise solutions, including IoT, cloud, and managed services
Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead high level B2B negotiations with OEMs, technology partners, and key internal stakeholders - Collaborating with sales, product, finance, and partners to ensure cohesive execution of trade marketing initiatives
Competitive Intelligence
- Direct ongoing market and competitor analysis to anticipate trends, benchmark pricing, and proactively adjust strategies
Deal Governance
- Oversee bespoke and strategic deal structures, ensuring robust ROI analysis, risk management, and compliance with corporate policies
Reporting & Insights
- Deliver executive level reporting on pricing performance, monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform trade marketing strategies
Process Optimisation
- Champion the development and enhancement of pricing models, tools, and processes to drive efficiency, accuracy, and agility
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Track and analyse the effectiveness of trade marketing activities using KPIs and ROI metrics
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in; Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field is essential
Experience
- Extensive experience in commercial pricing, revenue management, or commercial strategy within the telecommunications or technology sector
- Demonstrated success in managing complex pricing portfolios across multiple product lines and sales channels
Skills required
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills at senior levels
