Job Description
The Construction Administrative Assistant will support a General Contracting company by managing vendor outreach, estimate collection, client communication, and construction-related administrative tasks. This role requires strong follow-up skills, organizational ability and attention to detail to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
 
Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to subcontractors/vendors (40–65 per project) to gather and track estimates/quotes.
 
- Follow up consistently with vendors to ensure timely responses.
 
- Compile estimates into structured formats for review and decision-making.
 
- Assist with client communication and follow-up as needed.
 
- Support with document preparation, correspondence and other project-related admin tasks.
 
- Utilize Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive) for all workflows.(Preferred)
 
- Interpret and understand construction blueprints to assist with estimating process
 
 
 
Must-Have Qualifications
 
- Strong organizational and follow-up ski
 
- Excellent communication skills (clear written and spoken English).
 
- Experience with vendor coordination, estimates or procurement (preferred).
 
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive).
 
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.(Preferred)
 
- Familiarity with U.S. construction processes, terminology or blueprint reading.
