Duties

  • Developing and implementing security policies and procedures to protect the coal mine site from potential threats, including theft, vandalism, and trespassing.
  • Conducting regular security risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate security measures.
  • Managing and supervising security personnel, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as operations and maintenance, to ensure security measures are integrated into daily operations.
  • Monitoring and maintaining security systems, such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarms.
  • Investigating security incidents, accidents, or breaches and preparing detailed reports.
  • Coordinating with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services to ensure a prompt response to security incidents or emergencies.
  • Conducting regular drills and training sessions to ensure all employees are aware of security protocols and procedures.
  • Implementing and managing visitor access control systems to regulate entry to the coal mine site.
