We're seeking a passionate and talented Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Data team. In this hybrid role (2 days in-office), you'll create and manage data pipelines, dashboards (Looker, Tableau and Power BI), and architecture for advanced global clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Engineering: Design and implement robust, scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources (marketing platforms, advertising networks, customer databases).

 

  • Data Modeling & Architecture: Develop and maintain high-quality data models, schemas, and database architectures for efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of marketing and business data.

 

  • Data Quality & Consistency: Ensure data accuracy and reliability through rigorous data transformation processes (cleansing, aggregation, enrichment).

 

  • Data Visualization, Business Intelligence & Reporting: Create and maintain insightful and visually strong dashboards, reports, and visualisations using BI tools (Looker/Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI) to empower stakeholders and clients with actionable insights.

 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, aligning with data governance and security best practices.

 

  • Data Infrastructure Optimization: Monitor and optimise data infrastructure performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues related to data quality, latency, scalability, and system efficiency.

 

  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in business intelligence, data warehousing, and digital marketing analytics, and proactively recommend process improvements and tool adoption.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, Data Modeler, Data Architect, Analytics Engineer, or BI Engineer, translating requirements into effective technical solutions.

 

  • Data Expertise: Proven experience with data modelling (including dimensional modelling), data warehouse design, building ETL/ELT pipelines, and end-to-end analytics solutions.

 

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong SQL proficiency and extensive database experience (Google BigQuery is a must).

 

  • BI Tooling: Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools and data visualisation platforms (Looker, Tableau/Power BI, Looker) to create interactive, insightful, and visually strong dashboards and reports.

 

  • Data Foundations: Solid understanding of data modelling, database design principles, and data warehousing concepts.
