The main focus of this role is for the salesperson/specifier to have an existing network of architects and interior designers, to grow the network, focussing on product specifications in high-end residential, hospitality and commercial building projects.
Responsibilities:
- Networking: Leverage your existing network and actively expand connections within the architecture and interior design community.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with architects and interior designers, to understand their needs and promote and specify our products.
- Focused on specifying products in building projects with architects and interior designers.
- Basic understanding of technology and interior design.
- Conduct calls and face to face meeting with customers (architects and designers) daily.
- Maintain records of all sales leads and customer accounts.
- Educate customers on how products or services benefit them now and in the long run.
- Monitor the company's industry competitors, new products and market to identify new products and customer needs.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of proven success in sales, preferably within the construction, architecture, interior design, or related industries.
- Extensive network of contacts within the architecture and interior design community.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, set goals, and drive results with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in using remote work tools, CRM software, and digital communication platforms.
- Valid drivers licence and reliable vehicle.
