Kyta Industries currently have a requirement for a Sales Representative within the KYTA Industries Cape Town Branch, whose responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:


  • Maintain knowledge of new and existing products.
  • Maintain a database of current and potential clients.
  • Source new clients – physical electronically, word of mouth.
  • Activate customers/clients to ensure pro-active responses and requests.
  • Develop a sales network of customers.
  • Significantly expand the existing client base of the Company.
  • Engage in active sales discussions and negotiate closure of sales deals.
  • Build customer loyalty.
  • Provide customer service with a sense of urgency.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with regards to the product and service provided.
  • Liaise with customers and provide feedback to the Company.
  • Provide support, information and guidance by researching and recommending new opportunities for profit and service improvements.
  • Maintain knowledge of new and existing products, as well as report competitor activities and systems.
  • Monthly planning and forecasting on accounts.
  • Managing profitability in accounts for organization.
  • Develop and maintain attention to detail

Must be willing to travel as this position will be to service Kyta clients in Western Cape outlying areas.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric
  • 2 - 5 years’ retail external sales and problem-solving experience
  • Relevant sales & marketing background.
  • Sales & Marketing Diploma or equivalent is an advantage
  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle

Computer Literacy

· Microsoft Office

  • Achievement of agreed share of business within existing customers in relation to KYTA Product lines and Brands
  • Achievement of value of new business generated
  • Achievement of agreed customer retention targets
  • Achievement of agreed gross profit targets within existing customer base
