We are currently looking for highly motivated and result-orientated Sales/Marketing Representative to join our dynamic team at a brick manufacturing company. As Sales/Marketing Representative, your primary focus will be on driving sales and generating revenue through the promotion and sale of our high-quality brick products. This position requires a strong sales drive, excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers in the Butterworth, N2 , Eastern Cape region of South Africa.

Responsibilities

1. Sales and Business Development:

  • Take ownership of the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, actively seeking out new business opportunities and expanding our customer base. • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and other key decision-makers in the construction industry.• Develop a deep understanding of our brick products, features, and benefits to effectively communicate their value to potential customers.

2. Achieving Sales Targets: • Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through a proactive and results-oriented approach. • Develop and implement sales strategies, including prospecting, lead generation, and follow-up activities, to maximize sales opportunities and drive revenue growth

3. Sales Presentations and Negotiations: • Conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the quality and versatility of our brick products. • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers to secure profitable sales contracts while ensuring customer satisfaction.

4. Relationship Building: • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing customers, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise • Identify opportunities for up-selling, cross-selling, and repeat business by staying informed about customer projects and needs.

5. Sales Reporting and Analysis: • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including customer information, sales activities, and opportunities, using our CRM system. • Prepare regular sales reports and provide insights on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets, preferably in a construction or building materials industry.
  • Strong sales drive with a passion for delivering results and exceeding expectations. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers at all levels.
  • Fluency in Xhosa, Afrikaans, English, and Zulu languages.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory

. • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficiency in using sales tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
