Requirements

Education

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • A tertiary qualification is preferable.
  • Technology certified – carry all vendor certifications.

Experience

  • 2+ years in IT and technology product management experience.
  • Proven experience in and a good understanding of the distributor and reseller landscape.

Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong financial and business acumen essential
  • Strong planning, organising, and time management skills with a focus on attention to detail
  • Deep understanding of exchange rates, cross rates and cross-border trading
  • Ability to work towards targets while multi-tasking
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build effective internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to cope with stress, deal with conflict, and work under pressure.
  • Conscientious and deadline-driven, and the ability to take initiative.

Responsibilities

Manage Vendor Correspondence and Communication

  • Act as the key liaison for vendor communication, ensuring timely and effective correspondence.

Internal Product Management

  • Manage and control all internal aspects of product management as defined by the Product Manager and BU Manager.

Sales Engagement

  • Collaborate with the sales team to drive engagement and support sales initiatives.

Reporting and Executing of Inventory Portfolio

  • Monitor and report on inventory portfolios, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available for decision-making
