If so, then this exciting opportunity as an Internal Account Manager within the Namibia team in Tarsus Distribution might be the perfect fit for you! You will be responsible for proactively and strategically driving sales activities to achieve specific sales and margin targets while identifying and managing opportunities to grow revenue and increase the product breadth base within the Namibia market.
As an Internal Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships and seamless communication between the Tarsus Distribution Namibia sales team and various internal departments. You will be responsible for proactively managing channel partner accounts, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of information and resources to support the Namibia team in achieving their sales and profitability goals.
You Will Be Expected To
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a set base of channel partners allocated to your rep code, addressing their needs and inquiries promptly and efficiently.
- Proactively manage partner accounts, acting as a liaison between the Namibia sales team and departments like product, logistics, and finance.
- Manage service levels and resource allocation to ensure timely execution of sales quotes and orders.
- Identify opportunities to streamline internal processes and improve overall efficiency within the Namibia sales team.
- Generate reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of internal account management strategies.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company products, services, and policies and procedures.
- Drive sales success through diligent and accurate management of pipeline, backorders, and open quotes.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification preferred, with a focus on sales training or a related field being a strong asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels
- Proven organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving internal roadblocks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A keen understanding of internal sales operations and best practices is highly desirable
- Previous experience within the Namibia technology industry is an advantage
- This is an office-based position in the Windhoek branch.
