Duties

  • Using planning software to feed data, analyse, evaluate and amend system recomendations to meet your set demand and supply planning requirements
  • Coordinate sales and operations 6 week plan by tracking movements and liasing with your stakeholders
  • Utilise Transportation management software to plan and issue inventory movement on vehicles thereby allocating coordinating deliveries to the transport team
  • Track , monitor and change plans when necessary
  • Work with Business analyst and demand planner to ensure system operational changes are recorded and forecasting targets are accurate

Requirements

  • Completed 3 year Degree/Diploma in B Eng Industrial Engineering ( not BTech) or BSc Maths or Stats or other analytical degree provided you have
  • At least three years solid experience in Forecasting, planning and statistical analysis in a supply chain environment
  • At least 1 year of continous improvement or business process experience
  • Some experience using forecasting software
  • Experience in correctly extracting data from an existing database/ MIS, extrapolating data to determine trends and
  • Trends analyses to properly and appropriately compile a management report
  • Intermediate Excel
  • A high degree of analytical skills, logical reasoning and systems thinking
  • Effective verbal, non verbal and written communication
